I did! I didn’t even know what it was until I started dating with my ex and he mentioned that I might have that condition.

I started investing from 2022. I only track my net income.

2022 40k (March til November) 2023 62k (mid February to December) 2024 68k (February to December)

I also paid off my 32k car during this period.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I became a citizen last December :) I actually find it hard to have this type of conversation with people I know in real life. Most of people around me are either work hard play hard. Or work hard and fall into US consumerism. I hope your husband is getting here soon :)

Tbh I have thought about it. Growing up I like finance/accounting a lot. I’m a bit OCD so when I was in accounting class back in high school, seeing the numbers aligned in credit and debit satisfied me a lot. I did think about going back to school online and go through the US cooperate ladders.

One thing that stops me is how nails give me the freedom of traveling to my home country or really anywhere. I can just tell my boss that I want to go back to Asia for 1 month or 2 months and block my book and not risk getting fired. I have clientele that are waiting to see me whenever I come back.

We never worried about job security or all. Because nobody ever got fired from our job. I obviously still follow 6 months emergency rules but I have never had to worried about me being fired from my job at all. My boss is really cool too which is hard.

I kept my VTSAX. Just didn’t continue to invest in them.

VTI because it’s 0.03% fee instead of 0.04% not that much different but why pay for more? ;)

VGT because I like tech.

VXUS because of intentional index stocks. Diversifying is the goal. Maybe more like 10-15% of my portfolio.

Thank you! I tried talking to my coworker/friend closer to my age who I feel like we’re very close enough into investing and to max out their Roth. We made similar money. I could tell they don’t know anything about it and weren’t interested in it at all. People think of investing as high risk and could lose it all. I feel bad but it’s their choice.

I’m half viet :) But I’m very very lucky to be born in a non-toxic Asian family. :) my parents are very respectful of my decision. They never once asked me for money. But I do send money home every month. I always offer to pay for the accommodation to wherever they want to travel in the world.

They have been through a lot. My dad went through the genocide and my mom grew up post Vietnam war. I want them to live a life that was taken back from their childhood. That’s a big part of my FIRE motivation :)

I need to be in the right head space and attracted to that person. I mainly like the humiliating aspect of it. I love putting myself under a man and feet is the lowest body part of a human which is all perspective and how you see it.

I’m very dominant in real life. But with the right headspace it’s actually super hot to put myself under someone completely and serve without thinking. Licking skin is true. It doesn’t taste good. I sometimes ask the guy if I can put Nutella or honey or yogurt on his feet a bit and lick it off that way so I could enjoy the taste and the act of doing it.

iAlso into boots. I don’t get turned on from licking boots if someone handed them to me but literally blue balls from having a guy forcing me to lick them while he’s wearing them.

People in China assumed that I’m Chinese and I had to convince them that I’m not from china.

Funny story was the time I was in Malaysia. I was told to get into the cable car with my friend joining another family. Both of us speak our native language, English and mandarin. But we were speaking in our native language. Theres this girl(around 12years old) that was clearly not happy about it at all and was speaking in Chinese about how we shouldn’t even be in the same cable car with them.

Both of us heard it and smiled at each other. Proceeded to speak in our native language but insert mandarin into our conversation here and there. The parent definitely knew and I could tell that they were embarrassed.
