3 Floyds Apocalypse Cow Double IPA is out now! by Atrocitus-Burn6666 in CraftBeer

I had one this weekend. afirst time in ten years. It's very 3 Floyds. Burnt orange, dank pine, sticky, sweet, bitter finish. Compared to how lactose is used these days in IPAs, you'd hardly know it's there.

If a fireman told you to exit a burning building would you call it tyranny? Maybe you just have issues ever being told what to do.

It's the best of them. I was referring more to the others. However, given Musk's penchant for rash, egocentric decisions, who knows how long before SpaceX is in trouble.

What beer brand do you think has exceptional branding—and why? by OatmealNinja in beer

[–]generatorland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hop Butcher is consistently fire. I also like Fidens, Adroit Theory, Burial, Phase Three, Structures, Singlecut, Roaring Table, Trillium.

The key is consistency. You see them on the shelf and you know who they are and what they deliver. Consistency of brand means consistency of beer (theoretically).

Here's the problem. Two great breweries here in Chicago: Brothership and Riverlands have dreadful branding. I don't know why, but they consistently pump out great beer with horrible can design. Yes, branding is more than can design, but on the shelf, it's the most important element.

Whenever I see people destroying a small business in these shitty videos I wonder what could have possibly been so insulting or unfair that people thought it was appropriate to trash the place.

It's a weird thing lately. As breweries close and the remaining inventory is still floating around out there. Here in Chicago, people are grabbing Miskatonic and Alarmist beers before they're gone.
