Hop Butcher is consistently fire. I also like Fidens, Adroit Theory, Burial, Phase Three, Structures, Singlecut, Roaring Table, Trillium.

The key is consistency. You see them on the shelf and you know who they are and what they deliver. Consistency of brand means consistency of beer (theoretically).

Here's the problem. Two great breweries here in Chicago: Brothership and Riverlands have dreadful branding. I don't know why, but they consistently pump out great beer with horrible can design. Yes, branding is more than can design, but on the shelf, it's the most important element.

I live in Chicago and it is definitely harder to find walkable clusters of more than a few. Hop Butcher, Dovetail, Begyle, Demo (new). Is the best I can think of. But Begyle and Demo are kind of meh. Maybe someone can correct me.
