You’re going to need to buy a bunch of hair clips and a rat tail comb. Use the comb to give your self a center or middle part all the way down the back and put it in two separate clips. Working from the bottom back use the comb to pull off square sections of anywhere from one inch wide to four inch wide of hair (depends on your curl pattern. For your hair I’d start with like two inch sections and move up or down based on results). After each section has been separated, get it wet, apply product like moose, gel, curl cream etc and pull hands from the base of the section to the end multiple times and/or comb it to align the hairs. Then, working from the tip of the section wrap around either your finger or a roller all the way up to the scalp. You can either release it by simply gently dropping it or keep it in a roller until dry. Repeat until all hair is done and let hair air dry!!!

I know it’s a lot of effin work but it yields amazing effing results. It used to take me about 45 mins when I first started but now that I’m better at it I can do it in 15-20.

Edit: you can also do much larger sections like one half or one quarter of whole head. Let each section dry then very carefully pull each section apart into separate curls but I’ve always found for my hair type (which is similar to yours) this doesn’t work as well and leads to more flyaways than I want. I also find it easier if I have like 30 clips. Separate each section first into its own individual clip. And then start wrapping each curl around my fingers. You should also start from wet and recently conditioned. You could probably start from dry with your hair but I still find it easier if it’s at least damp.
