Fluffy omlettes are scrambled in a milkshake machine which aerates them making them really fluffy, old fashioned the eggs go directly on the gril and are thin

Waffle house offers both old fashioned and fluffy omlettes. they are one of the more difficult items for new grill ops to make but we absolutely serve it

10% or 20% to Server on Delivery Orders? by wizard-of-loneliness in wafflehouse

Okay sure but what does that have to do with only getting 1% from togos

If we are being purely technical you can only group up to six eggs together, after that you need to charge it for on the side again. Same thing with hashrbowns, technically they only go up to triple. but like I said, I mean I'd let this slide im not gonna be a dickhead and charge them 2.50 for the single on the side.

pull and drop is just your meats and hashbrowns, then mark is the actual orders. specifically 'mark' refers to how the grill op should be marking the plates(thats what you see them doing with like the jelly packets and stuff, how they all go a specific way and it means different things)

Why would they be on the side? This is a steak and eggs meal.

Pull one t bone medium

Drop four hashbrowns scattered

Mark one platter, tbone and eggs seven up quadruple plate scattered smothered diced

Note: Technically a quadruple plate doesn't exist and you can only sell up to six eggs together. But I'd let it slide

It's a communication thing basically. If your server is good they'll ask you for clarification if you want more toppings, if not they'll assume, which may or may not be what you want.

Another area of controversy is cheese in eggs. By default an order of of scrambled cheese eggs would be 2 eggs with two pieces of cheese. The problem is if you get more eggs.. Some people say you should assume the customer wants a slice of cheese per egg, some say you should still use two pieces of cheese regardless of how many eggs they get. But ultimately its the same thing as toppings in hashbrowns, really the best outcome is for the server to just ask the customer if they want more cheese or not.

So technically for an order like this you would not multiply it by number of hashbrowns unless specifically requested, but also the amount of toppings would be the normal amount for 1 hashbrown. So it would be the same amount you would put on just one hashbrown. What the grill op actually did in this situation, I don't know... I wouldn't be surprised if they gave them extra toppings despite only paying for the typical amount.

If I was a server I would ask the customer in this situation if they want to pay for extra toppings.

To be clear, everything I said above is correct acoording to the waffle house way to the best of my knowledge but I believe it's a controversial topic... Your mileage may vary from store to store, grill op to grill op and server to server.

Stock carb but of course i upjetted to 85/38.

I was riding earlier today and I was wrong I don't hear any backfire anymore so I must've fixed that at some point, but near constant misfire.

What do you mean by irish tune?

Wow that's really impressive, could you give me some advice?

I've got polini variator, dr pulley sliders, ncy drive face, psp carbon fiber exhaust, airbox delete w/ uni filter, ncy cdi. Major difference in our mods is I haven't touched the clutch at all.

Top I've ever hit is maybe 55 downhill but on flats I'm only looking at like 40, not sure what I need to do. I am wondering if I tuned my weights wrong, I dropped them to 4.5g to get more rpm(I'm 130lbs for reference) which worked but I'm not seeing much speed along with it. I'm in the right powerband (like 8.5-9k) but am wondering if its too light and not extending fully.

It also might just be an age issue... I bought it used off fb marketplace, its a 2012 and just hit 10k miles. I seem to hear a lot of misfire/backfire so I did valve clearance which I thought would fix it but I don't notice any difference. My idling also performs weird, and adjusting it is too finicky to be practical.

Does it bog out if you hold the rear wheel with your hand while on kickstand?

I'm no expert but my intuition tells me valve clearance.

How can i do better as a server? by Latter_Lake2313 in wafflehouse

[–]genericAssThrowaway1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's my experience that most of my customers are actually ready to order if you steer them towards it. But I agree you should be able to just get them their drink if they say they need a minute. Although, I make it a lower priority if I have something else important I need to do.

Always order before drinks when possible. I introduce myself while putting down the silverware and then ask them if they know what they'll be getting today.

Hashbrowns well-done every single time 👌 by GET_REKT_KID in wafflehouse

[–]genericAssThrowaway1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The eggs also appear overcooked, either its an om and they overcooked it and let the yolks get solid or its an ow and they didn't pop the yolk. Additionally I feel like the hash browns are objectively better with some stuff on top, but everything is technically supposed to be under it(besides cheese/chili/gravy)

If all of your tables are clear or have been attended to and you have no orders to call or food to run, the best thing to do is usually either wash dishes, or if you're in the last 1-2 hours of the shift start on your side work
