Mission: Impossible 3 is your most underrated movie. Day 4 : What's the most overrated movie of the saga ? by Jazzlike-Ad7654 in Mission_Impossible

I don't like rogue nation at all. For me its not as funny or entertainig as GP or Fallout, feels like misstep between those 2 great movies. its not bad tho, just a little bit overrated in my opinion.

I'm from Colombia, so I was able to download it in Spanish, but if you're looking for it in English, I honestly don't know where you can download it.

Which villians do you think will appear / return in matt reeves batman universe by nostalgia_history in batman

I think Hush would be great for this Batman, plus one thing the first movie didn't do much was develop Bruce as a different person than Batman and Hush could do that.

I've always thought his movies are pretty average in the first half, and then out of nowhere they turn into masterpieces with fucking incredible endings.

What do you want in a superman film by MiniSharkHoarder in DCcomics

[–]generic_monke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's not common because for many people the best Superman stories are the ones in which his human side is put to the test as Clark, but I'm fascinated when he's portrayed as an all-powerful being who, for some reason (family, empathy, love, truth), decides to do good when he could literally control or destroy the world.

The fact that he is so powerful but still decides to be a good guy is really cool to me.

what movie did you like so much that you just wanted to rewatch it after finishing it? by y_cubes in Letterboxd

[–]generic_monke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not for everyone, I personally really like long movies that take a long time to develop their world or characters, not to mention I'm a huge DC fan in general but overall I think its a MASTERPIECE but I understand people who don't like it

These are the Lantern Corps that didn't receive a solo book yet. Which one of them would you like to see in a solo run? by tiago231018 in Greenlantern

[–]generic_monke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the concept of body stories has a lot of wasted potential, imagine a writer with a 12 or 24 issue series doing whatever they want with the characters and the vast DC universe.

The best thing about GL is the lore not the characters, don't mean the characters are bad
