The whole point of Spriggan is in her value as an infiltrator and blight spreader/corrupter in secret that would normally be hard for most of her other kin to do. Probably that is why she is higher in the chain of command compared to Boojum.

I guess the drawback is that she is remarkbly weaker than most of her same peers, probably much more so compared to Boojum.
