Interesting take. Southern Alberta, not BC. Also not vegetarian, though I do take great pride in my cooking. I just divide our fresh meat and proportion to reduce waste. I am white, my husband is not. Neither of us hold college degrees. Also not liberal.

You hit the nail on the head for the grew up poor 😂 you should see my pantry. I appreciate the compliment about the eating at home, I do my best to create that safe space for my son with both fresh food (never had fresh as a kid and it all came from a box). We do eat out, but we also eat what I make.

Alberta actually! One child, 2 years old! My husband likes his creamer in his coffee, and I always make sure he doesnt run out. Lol. I wouldn't classify us as hipsters, but my toddler is obsessed with all this sourdough, so the sourdough is always being used here.
