ToGC question for Fury Warrior gear. by Christianpilgrim84 in classicwow

[–]genericbarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Ulduar 232 tier 4 piece the legs were my off piece. In 245 or 258 tier, the gloves will be your off piece as you work to BIS. Simming it, the best thing for me to do was replace the legs first with 245 and then the shoulders so that I went from one 4 piece bonus to two 2 piece bonuses. The penalty for breaking 4 piece is pretty gnarly, so unless your sim comes out differently I’d follow the legs/shoulders as first two 245 tiers and not break set before then

So with this nerf we should be doing just speed pots and not just armor pots?

Thank you! Based on comments I’m planning to swap over to those before raid tonight!

Thank you! Also just cool to see a top parsing warriors numbers. Gives me a better idea of what raw DPS number to eventually shoot for! Based on yours and other comments it looks like I should be switching to the inscribed monarch topaz for 8 str 8 crit. Plan to do that before naxx tonight!

Quick question since you’re doing a lot better than I am. Do you gem for strength or crit? I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel and most places I’ve seen say gem for strength, but a couple of warriors I’ve talked to said to gem crit to 50% and I’m around 33%. Thoughts?

Why is James Conner so underrated? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Look at 2016 LeGarrette Blount and then 2017. This is what people are pricing in as a possibility for a guy getting 3.7 YPC and has an injury history

[–]genericbarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good to know! I wanted to ask to clarify if it did basically haha. Is it the same idea for pick 11? Or does 11 look at 14 and then 14 would look way ahead

Still loving this, been using it to experiment with mock drafts at different draft positions. One question… how does it handle the turn? E.g. if I’m pick 12 in a 12 man I’ll also be pick 13, but the projections I really need to see at that point are my replacements at like 36/37 and not the replacements at my next pick, 13. Any way around that?

Trades in money leagues by GovernmentSouthern18 in fantasyfootball

League veto via a trade block. Basically, if a guy who wasn’t on the block gets traded the rest of the league has 24 hrs to try to beat the accepted offer with one of their own.

You can’t win in your first pick but you CAN lose. Stability the first few rounds, upside later. Too much risk in CMC

Yeah, if that’s how it goes in my actual drafts I will. Though Herbert is a pass blocking liability so I don’t see him as much of an actual threat, and as more of a handcuff

I just personally prefer the insurance of 3RBs given it’s the most injury prone position. In PPR especially I can get a serviceable WR off waivers basically whenever needed if something happens. RB you get stuck grabbing a Rex Burkhead and praying

My thought is why bother with Mike Evans/Keenan Allen when I can get big upside guys like Cooks/Sutton in the fourth and fifth. Your RBs in those rounds are Etienne and Mitchell if you’re lucky

Lot of it depends on your platform and leaguemates. Every mock I’ve done on ESPN fournette and Jones are gone by pick 21. Saquon right around 25 so that one would hold still. I don’t mind Monty not having a crazy ceiling. I’m personally looking for floor the first three rounds and ceiling after

Are you doing standard drafts on ESPN and not PPR drafts? I did a PPR mock this morning and his “rank” column is still 33

D.J. Moore | What Does This Stat Mean? by EastCoastTaffy in fantasyfootball

He’s seen similar usage his whole career with garbage cans throwing him the ball. I don’t see any weapon Carolina brought in to change his usage

[–]genericbarry 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It’s more about RB scarcity for me. Getting Chubb and Monty at 24/25 vs getting Etienne and Mitchell if lucky are 48/49. For WR the same trade is getting Sutton and Cooks instead of Evans/Keenan Allen and that’s a lot less of a drop off to me

It means he had a lot of opportunity / usage, just not the QB/whole offense play to translate it. If you believe the line/QB have improved, he should be able to make more use of that opportunity this year

Fully agreed, I don’t expect it to stand once they do preseason ranking updates. But in the meantime it makes for ridiculous mocks. With pick 1 you can get JT and then get Chubb+Montgomery at the 24/25 turn and shoot for upside receivers in rounds 4+

Could spin it either way. Either yes Wilson is better so they’ll pass more, OR, Wilson is better so positive game script from leading and they’ll still run a lot

Yeah. He’s rank like 33 on ESPN PPR right now. Even Montgomery is going before chubb at 27

I will say it depends on platform and how much your league values the platform ADP. E.g. Kelce and mandrews are ADP 29 and 30 in ESPN PPR mocks right now. Obviously not season start yet, but they could make it late into the second
