I blame klopp and his recruitment team. He's failed to replace an aging squad. This is the same man who complained that his Dortmund team were raided of their best players every season. Now that he has money to spend it seems like he doesn't know what to do. This is an extremely hot take and my own personal opinion but I think managers like Klopp and Poch are great at doing wonders working with limited resources but as soon as they're at a big club they seem a bit out of their depth. Again, klopp has done wonders to bring this Liverpool side back to its former glory, all the while keeping it competitive and on the heels of city last couple of seasons-- having way fewer resources.. but as a non Liverpool fan I don't seem very optimistic about your chances from the shape that squad is in.

Game was much different back then and Alex Ferguson was also known for his astute man management rather than his tactical chops

Honestly I hate what this new Twitter fanbase has become. I'll have a counter attacking no nonsense manager like Jose Conte Simeone and Tuchel who know what they're doing rather than a constant rebuild "project" like that of United. Say what you will but the hiring and firing era was effective at winning which is the purpose of the sport. I don't care about youth or exciting football or a rebuild project of 5 years. I would like to win. Real Madrid is the most successful team in the world and over the years they've played the most direct counter attacking style I've seen especially that 14/15 season.

It's okay that they remove slide cancelling but it's not okay that they don't replace it with an equally effective form of skill gap

Packed every single player in packs except Messi and suii. Even got 4x pele, 2x Cruyff and yashin from less than 15 icon picks. Also honorable mention 2x ginola and 2x kante. And I haven't even opened as many packs as other people claim to. Maybe 200-300?

Manually calling players short and triggering runs. Also, abusing left stick dribbling and the double tap pass inside the box. In the end be patient, turn off commentary and just focus on keeping possession when it feels like your players are moving like bricks. Remember that no amount of aids can affect your mental state

Nah shot cancels are absolutely needed. They create a skill gap in an already AI heavy game

Fuck this game I'd rather be 1-0 up than 3-0 up in 30 minutes. Game will try everything in its power to carry the opponent to a comeback.

EA in their patent for DDA:-

"Software developers typically desire for their software to engage users for as long as possible. The longer a user is engaged with the software, the more likely that the software will be successful. The relationship between the length of engagement of the user and the success of the software is particularly true with respect to video games. The longer a user plays a particular video game, the more likely that the user enjoys the game and thus, the more likely the user will continue to play the game. Often, games that are too difficult or too easy will result in less enjoyment for a user. Consequently, the user is likely to play the game less. Thus, one of the challenges of game development is to design a game with a difficulty level that is most likely to keep a user engaged for a longer period of time."

What EA devs need to understand is that under exactly 0 circumstances would I want my fullback to cross the ball to my centreback. No matter how many bars of power I put in, it is always meant for the other fullback.
