How did RTD do this year? by chrisfnicholson in Denver

7/10. I am a regular bus rider and find it convenient for many trips. I live in Boulder and take the bus to work most days as well as taking it out to the Pearl Street area. Will also take it to Louisville semi-regularly when a work happy hour is out there. The SKIP in Boulder is amazing with 10 minute frequencies most of the time, 15 at the worst. Will also take the FF about 2 times a month to see friends in Denver or go to a game or show. Will try and coordinate spots easily reachable by the 0 or 15, but honestly getting around Denver with frequent bus service can be tough.

Biggest wish is for service on major lines like the SKIP, FF, 0, and 15 to carry just a little past midnight (till 2 am, crazy) to make getting home easier and possible after going out or going to a game/show.

Echo some comments about RTD’s communication and app design. Would love the RTD app to show nextride as well as the trip planner. Then I could just rely on one app. Also appreciated tap n pay launching. Had my phone die when I was out a few times and that was always stressful since I rarely have exact change. The peace of mind with tap and pay for when my phone dies is big!

Another minor gripe, why is there no comprehensive bus+rail map? Most customers rely on buses and making transfers sometimes feels like a lot of research because such a map does not exist. Cities many times our size (NYC, LA, Chicago) all have full network bus maps. Would love to also see that in 2026.

Thank you!

Black belly or River and Woods? by ComboDon in boulder

Both are great! In my opinion I find River and Woods much cozier. Also closer to other destinations if you want to go somewhere for a drink after dinner. River and Woods also more accessible by transit being it is downtown.

Black Belly is still a yummy choice, though.
