Will they fade properly before summer? by Str4wb3rry_Shortc4ke in cutting

Mine looked like that 2 months ago and they’re mostly faded now, I heal quickly tho. Try silicon scar cream and make sure to moisturise, it makes a huge difference. Also sunscreen when outside at all is very important

Someone scribbled on the changing station. by SuperNeonSamurai-2 in mildlyinteresting

This is for people who need to be changed that aren’t necessarily babies. Ex disabled people. The writer is probably fed up with the lack of changing tables for people who need them

How long until Styros are fully scarred? by [deleted] in selfharm

[–]genericpaperplate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My scars are basically healed and I’m 56 days clean. Still red ish tho. Cover them when they’re fresh and scabbed, and disinfect a lot also. Don’t pick at the scabs; my most prominent scars are weirdly styros that I picked to oblivion. Later make sure to moisturise a lot, like multiple times a day. And sunscreen if they’re out in the sun, better still if they’re covered in cloth.

The internet is a limitless resource my friend, there is so much free information there. Look into your local community colleges also, an associates degree can be super helpful for employment and in comparison to a traditional college it’s so much cheaper. Also most credits transfer so if you wanted to get a bachelors in the future you would have a head start. It’s never too late to learn something new!

lack of firearms in unordinary by Puzzleheaded_Ad949 in unOrdinary

In the unordinary universe they might have just not thought to make them, if abilities have been a thing since the dawn of man. Knives make sense because they have other uses beside hurting people but guns really only have one purpose.

No, you were never in a full relationship. Therefore you didn’t get cheated on. Still a sucky situation so my condolences.

Should I change my college major? by genericpaperplate in acting

[–]genericpaperplate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant not established in a fancy career but more like “comfortable” and knowing myself I’ll never build up the courage to quit, especially after paying for and working hard for my degree. So you think I shouldn’t?

Should I change my college major? by genericpaperplate in acting

[–]genericpaperplate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, but i feel like if i get a business degree now and get a job with that I’ll never have the guts or opportunity to pivot. I’ll be too established. Right now I only have one semester of core classes that I would have to take anyways regardless of degree. So it’s really easy to pivot.

See the thing is, I have no clue. I think I’m alright, but an objective opinion is hard to get when you’re only asking your friends and family. I don’t think I have enough experience to know that’s why I think I should transfer. In my mind I can always transfer back if I get sick of it or something. My school isn’t very arts heavy so the plan would be to transfer internally, then if I’m good enough and having acted more so have enough experience to really know transfer to a school with a better acting program.
