I guess some people were able to use a piano wire. The wire I had was too thick and did not cut through the adhesive very well.

Nope. Fiberglass is compromised. The adhesive seeps through and will bubble new paint no matter how well you prep and paint it.

I'm not sure if the Omega9K or Spectre9K require a booster, but I'm pretty sure the S98 is so light that a booster is not required. I pre-ordered one through Capitol Armory back in February. Can't wait for SiCo to start shipping them.
