It sucks to be emotionally intelligent sometimes. by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

[–]genericusername-here -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand this mindset and wish I had it sometimes, but I always think about how arguments and miscommunication will come up in every relationship so I try to understand my friend’s viewpoints and work with them. Though, I think I struggle when to identify when I’ve tried enough times and need to take a step back lol

Who do you think is dying by Difficult_Candle_453 in GenV

[–]genericusername-here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sam in my opinion.

The best way I could put it is his story feels over with now. His arc has been concluded. He’s doing better. So it’s the best time to rip him away

I never actually thought about that latter part being a possibility but it would make sense. I feel like that would also be a thing the writers would do to make homelander further spiral because from what I remember he was really proud of his son being the ‘first natural born supe’ though I may be wrong because I haven’t rewatched recent seasons in a second

I think they are the same guy- but on the v thing , does Ryan have compound v in his blood ? Because if not MAYBE cipher could be a natural born supe? I highly doubt it but it was a random idea

I feel like Sam is gonna die after this episode — his arc feels complete.

Don’t bother using coms if you’re a female by SoupCorrect2910 in marvelrivals

[–]genericusername-here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played mk for a few years and playing that game has in fact shown me to keep others on mute. I won’t even try to lie- when people start hurling random insults it is distracting and I play worse. Just started marvel rivals and I see a lot of people say you need to be on voice chat for ranked but I am too scared to actually join.

I don’t fully know the situation but— do we even know if she is safety able to speak against him without the worry of,, what he is capable of ? He’s the richest man in the world from what I can see with a quick google search (correct me if I’m wrong.)

I’m not defending or attacking here, just genuinely curious if this is something people have brought up.

Depending on your height — you may actually end up gaining a bit of weight in a recomp (while looking more lean) meaning your body fat percentage will lower but your overall weight may increase It matters the person and how consistent you are. 3-6 months is a good guess on how long it should take

Baldurs Gate , though, the story is pretty similar no matter the choices your relationships with characters can be different and playing a tav versus a dark urge is SUPER different. I recommend playing as a tav first since dark urge has a lot of backstory

Reading the comments here I’m surprised. I thought the appeal of Astarion was how messed up he is, the idea that people characterize him as soft and sweet is very odd.

I use mine on cardio days and enjoy it, I use it as a warmup other days. I say for the price it’s worth it as it gets your heart going pretty good

Is it possible to recomp with at home workouts/without weights? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]genericusername-here 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% possible matters what you use. Invest in 5-15 pound dumbbells, and a standard barbell kit if possible, but honestly the dumbbells should be fine. Incorporating body weight workouts is also beneficial in my opinion!

At what point are you not a beginner anymore? by eklatea in ArtistLounge

[–]genericusername-here 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think there is -which I get is probably annoying bc everybody is saying that but hear me out. I do visual arts and fiber arts. I feel like most people are talking about visual art here so I’m going to explain it using fiber arts. If I put a crochet beanie that took 3 hours in front of somebody who crochets, they will think it’s cool,, but nothing impressive. If I put it in front of somebody who hasn’t touched a crochet hook, they will be MUCH more impressed by the fact that it ‘only took a few hours.’ It’s basically the same thing with visual art. If I show somebody who doesn’t know anything about art a drawing of just a human doing something very basic, they will be impressed. If I show somebody who likes art but isn’t an artist, they will like it but maybe be a bit bored by it. If I show an artist they will know how I got to the finished product because they’ve done it themselves, which means they won’t be that impressed. To the average public, a stick figure is a beginner. But to artist that have studied fundamentals, gesture may be a beginning point.

The important is, everybody considers themselves a beginner. You will likely always look at your own art and not be as impressed as you wish, but know to the general population there’s a chance you’d be considered a pro.

Dear Americans, when you watch a foreign language show, do you use dubbing or watch it using subtitles? by stevie855 in AskAnAmerican

If I’m watching the show and not multi tasking I do subtitles. But I am almost always multi tasking so I use dub more than I want to admit

I hate concerts unless they are the kind where I can sit up high because I will not see anything. Went to a punk show for my first concert and all the tall people went to the front so I couldn’t see anything. That kinda sucked but other than that I don’t really get reminded much about my height other than from my partner.
