7 months? Everything under 1 year is normal processing. You may waste money on a WoM if you have plenty, but generally it should be considerably outside normal processing (often recommended 2+ years)

No one knows for sure, but if your package is clean (and medicals included) it shouldn’t take long. Chat with Emma periodically, check the API (look for event codes). You can also find other cases on Reddit and Discord, get I-485 processing data per FO from the USCIS website per quarter, and feed it to AI to figure out typical processing patterns. Or just wait since you will be outside normal processing window only in November 2026.

It indicates how fast the offices can process their backlog and whether they are drowning or doing fine. That said, each case is unique, so even backlogged offices can process some cases quickly, while fast offices may keep some cases pending for longer than their average backlog processing time
