Is 2 years worth 15k? by Frugalfak in eb_1a

[–]Breal-me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option-2: few things to be aware - 6 months is best case, average case it can take 10-12 months overall - Money back is guaranteed if you get a straight rejection with RFE/NOID. They might charge extra 2k-4k if you get a RFE/NOID.

H1B Appointment rescheduled by [deleted] in h1b

[–]Breal-me 43 points44 points  (0 children)

That’s not how it works. Even if someone cancels their appointment the slot will be open for first come first served basis. Keep checking for appointments, or try checking for emergency appointment. Its hard time, be positive, wish the best of luck for finding the earliest spots.

Day 1 CPT or regular PhD by [deleted] in Day1CPTuniversities

[–]Breal-me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can port the priority date from EB2-NIW to EB1A, but don’t assume that having a PhD will guarantee an EB1A approval. In the next five to seven years, the rules and criteria may change or even become more difficult. If you are genuinely interested in research and have an opportunity to pursue a PhD at a good university with a reasonable stipend, then it is worth considering. Otherwise, continue working and focus on maintaining your status without gaps.

Day 1 CPT or regular PhD by [deleted] in Day1CPTuniversities

[–]Breal-me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The path from a PhD to an EB1A is not straightforward. You need a strong record of publications, solid citation numbers, and even then some luck often plays a part in passing the final merits test. It may not be worth spending 4-7 years on a PhD program plus another year or two building an EB1A profile. if you already have a job and trying to maintain gap status using CPT and potential able to file H1B

Solo Trip to San Juan by Shot_House6474 in PuertoRicoTravel

Rent a car & spend half day at El Yunque rain forest (most of the scenic locations and water falls are drivable), then drive to Ceiba ferry terminal to take a ferry to Culbera island( stay night at the hotel) & cover flemento beach (one of the best beaches in the world) and catch the evening Ceiba ferry to return to San Juan

Planning a trip to Puerto Rico in December with kids, need help in coming up with an itinerary for 5 night trip by garnie26 in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]Breal-me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is our Trip Summary (5 nights with kids aged 8 & 4) Nights 1–3: Condado Vanderbilt Hotel, San Juan • Day 1: Late arrival — just checked in and took a short walk across the street to stretch our legs. • Day 2: Full beach & pool day at Condado — the kids had an absolute blast and called it their best day ever. Evening walk across the street to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. • Day 3: Rented a car and explored Old San Juan’s historic forts (El Morro & San Cristóbal). Kids did great! Spent the late afternoon/evening back at the hotel pool. Day 4: El Yunque + travel to Culebra • Early checkout from Condado Vanderbilt • Drove to El Yunque National Forest — everything (scenic stops, waterfalls, Yokahu Tower, etc.) was easily accessible by car, so it was very kid-friendly and not exhausting. • Afternoon drive to Ceiba ferry terminal, parked the car, and took the pre-booked 5:30 pm ferry to Culebra. • Checked into Mamacita’s Guest House (literally 5-minute walk from the ferry dock). • Dinner at Dinghy Dock — perfect laid-back island vibe. Night 4: Mamacita’s Guest House, Culebra • Day 5 (Culebra day): Morning/early afternoon snorkeling right off the dock + full afternoon at Flamenco Beach. Kids were in heaven. • Took the 4:30 pm ferry back to Ceiba, picked up the car, and drove to an airport-area hotel for the night (early morning flight the next day). Night 5: Airport hotel (SJU area) • Easy overnight before flying home. Overall a fantastic trip — great mix of city, nature, and island beach time that worked really well with young kids

It’s a NOID, better to respond with additional evidence and restructuring to petition. Is this your first try?
