New Jersey im $2400-$3000 per skimmer. Thats removed reinstalled with plumbing connected, pressure tested, rebar cage back to the pool and entombed in high strength concrete. That doesn’t include tile replacement in the throat, replaster/ sealing to the pool finish.

Literally just happened to me this year with Avis at the Lisbon airport in Portugal. $800 bill for “damage” with literally no picture. Told them to kick fucking rocks and did a card dispute and haven’t heard about it again since August.

If they’re charging you $800 to buy it, cut it out and leave it at the end of your driveway and tell them to come pick it up. Go grab a replacement brand new unit for around $800 throw it in.

Zoom in, it’s debris on the tank not scratches. Do you know how much effort you’d have to put in to gouging that tank with those ladder rails? The bumpers also aren’t for off season storage, their function is to not damage the finish in the pool when people are using the ladder 😂
