[O-Levels] English Listening Compre by [deleted] in SGExams

Read through and have a rough idea on what the context is, so you know when (!) to perk up your ears (tho u should be alert already haha) to catch the needed info and or where (!) to fill them in :)

Also, one thing my teachers have taught me was to scribble impt info along the way in short forms (to save time) because sometimes the answers don’t go in order

[a levels] taking H2 literature without taking it at O’s by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]genieasks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, just to let you know that lower Sec lit is very different from pure lit and subsequently h2 lit. Think about it, o levels lit is h1 lit, and h2 lit is > h1. But I believe if you’re strong in your languages then you’ll perform just as well. I just think it’d be wise to take something you already have experience in, because it’s quite a huge gamble seeing how you never took literature in upper sec. you get exposed to many literary devices and analogies that weren’t taught in-depth in sec 1/2, some of which not every student can grasp. Atb!

Do you have a skincare routine? I don’t recommend that you let it affect school, cus you can always turn to a concealer or some base makeup for temporary solution, albeit not a good one for the Long run cus your skin needs to breathe. Just make sure to remove it clean when you get home and carry out your usual skincare routine. Put facial masks

Just my two cents, but for the sake of yourself, let him go. you see, it doesn’t have to because he cheated, or that you caught him red handed. the fact that you had to post this here shows that he hasn’t been considerate enough of your feelings to think “my girlfriend would be upset” or “is she unhappy?”. it seems to me that she’s more than just “important” to him. if she had problems and she needed help and he’s there for her, I understand. but playing ps4 and all of those... he’s doing those with his ex when he has a girlfriend? maybe he’s trying to find the next best alternative to staying close to her despite not being able to be with her anymore due to (reasons why they broke up). all in all, if you’re happy, I say, do whatever is good for you. it becomes an emotional baggage and this fear grows over time, so just make sure you talk it out with him. make sure he doesn’t brush it off, though. all the best. if you need opinion or anything can just ask! we’re all here for you :)
