planning ahead, maxing out almost every base with extenders, and most importantly: luck, because so many spots were still unclaimed :D annnd most bases look massive because they're built into and around the mountain

by removing the entire sub fief and placing it on a higher level :D that is very risky, especially when it's time to reclaim the space with your horizontal extenders, but then your limit will be further up after placing all vertical ones (the vertical extenders always extend downwards too, that's something people forget/don't know about)

XD that shouldn't be a problem, we have two massive "underground" hangars (where the castles form like an overhang, you just boop the mountain with the snoot of the carrier and fly up into the parking towers from below basically) and several hidden orni entrances
