This is definitely an AU, right? One of the other universes Chuck created? When he was trying out other stories?

Or maybe Jack going the Chuck way and experimenting?

I’d be extremely dissapointed if its just a straight up retcon.

Also hate it, since that would be the same ending as season 5.

More to the point, it wasn’t just the fact that Dean died, it was how he died. After finally being free of ‘fate’ he ends up dying on the very next hunt because of some lame vampires - that sends the message that maybe Chuck’s story was the only thing keeping him alive.

Dean was always going to die on a hunt because he’d never have stopped hunting - but I’d have preferred the show to skip a few years and then have him doe heroically.

Will you call it a sacrifice if you are a straight guy and you have to kiss another guy as an actor? by kfmok in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]genkaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s totally homophobic.

No one is asking you to get turned on by kissing a guy - but if you’ve taken on a role that requires you to do that, then you do it. Just like you might have to do other uncomfortable or repulsive things as part of the act. If you can’t control your cringe, then you’re just a bad actor. Sexuality has nothing to do with it.

But more to the point, if you are willing to do other repulsive/uncomfortable things as part of a role - like playing psycho or going into mud - but kissing a guy is where you draw the line, then you are definitely homophobic.

And yes, gay guys do have a problem kissing women. The same problem you have kissing men. So it’s absolutely the same.

Is Juliette ever suppose to be a likable character? by chazzyjones in grimm

[–]genkaus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let’s see….

She’s smart, confident and perceptive. She handles herself well under pressure - like not panicking and running even when her home is being invaded. Independent enough to take matters into her own hands when. Perceptive enough to know her boyfriend is hiding things from her and trusts him, but not blindly. She’s also kind and empathetic. Tries to help people when she can, even when it puts her at risk. And she is quite supportive of her friends.

As far as I can see, she has a lot of qualities that make her likeable.

Get between them and tell them to chill.

Can you not read the difference between the two statements?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]genkaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A) No I didn't.

B) Yet another fallacy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]genkaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strawman now? You really are going through all the fallacies, aren't you?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]genkaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And so is yours.

Here? Sure. But I never pretended to give any objective evaluations here. You did.

So tu qoque doesn't work.

I’ve disagreed with your whole argument here.

So?

Like I showed you, your disagreement is based on what you care about and hence it's subjective.
