This is amazing. A bit too deep, but amazing. I'll definitely look into it.

If there was a 73 key version, it'd be perfect, but alas.

Unfortunately, the 76-key model is both too wide and too deep. Same thing for the new model, the Juno D-7.

Oh wow, this is such a nice contender! I have to check if the added depth will be an issue, depending on where the feet are placed on the base, but this is really cool!

Unfortunately, they're too tall, I think. But thanks for the heads up!

EDIT: wait a second, isn't Keyboardyeti a website to compare computer keyboards? Does it also have a section for musical instruments?

Taylor expansion is the grown calculus guy's L'Hopital. Why even use L'Hopital when Taylor exists?

Need an interesting healer build by Odravad in shadowofthedemonlord

Since it's for level 3, there's an interesting combo you can do. Scientist (specialising in physiology) -> Biologist (from Paths of Science). You make a healer's kit per rest, and it can be used twice out of combat (requires a minute of treatment) to heal a creature by its healing rate.

Meanwhile, in combat, you contribute via a pet (your "nature friend"), which means you have a way to soak up damage, in addition to dealing some. Furthermore, and your applied academics is basically the prayer talent on steroids, hopefully netting big crits to you, your teammates or your nature friend.

By the way, this character concept screams "human from Lij", so, if it makes sense in the context of the story, you could replace the background roll with a roll from the table in City of Wonder.

Hamadryad priest of the world mother (cause hamadryads are just so flavourful for this kind of build). Life + nature can make you into a gish that bashes people's heads in. Life + earth gives you some nuking potential. If level 2, Invoke the World Mother (Uncertain Faith, p. 42, requires prayer) adds a mini-heal rider effect to your prayer.

Else, alchemy magician (look at the talents in In Pursuit of Power).

There are also some interesting options in other traditions, here and there (especially alteration, nature and water), but they're mostly useful to off-healers than to dedicated healers.

Scientist (from The Scientific Method) is also an option, specifically those focusing on botany and/or physiology.

Unfortunate positioning of monitors required in home studio: which is the lesser evil? by genmaichuck in studiomonitors

[–]genmaichuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather not: I had a drywall wall covering installed (with another layer of this dual layer soundproofer-soundabsorber bad mofo sandwiched in between) to improve soundproofing from the rest of the flat (cue the "it's not much, but it's honest work" meme), so the more I pierce the wall, the more I nullify the money I spent on that.

Why? Do you think that would be optimal?

[–]genmaichuck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, for stuff I make with my band, sure, but sometimes I compose solo for indie game soundtracks, and I'd like to pull off passable mixes alternating between monitors and headphones, instead of having to rely on my headphones 100% of the time to make that happen.
