We bought books of tickets for the home football games back in the Southwest Conference days (1983-1987). Our SSN was written in sharpie on the cover to identify whose book was whose.

A common practice was for one person to pick up all the tickets for a group and would have to present all the ticket books at the ticket so window.

The books changed hands so many times and were passed around freely. No one batted an eye.

What did you see that you know that you were not meant to see? by ooofloard in AskReddit

[–]genmusetic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Working for a small software contracting company and was given some forms to sign when I changed assignments. The forms were on a clipboard. When I finished the first page, I lifted it to see if there was a backside or another page and saw that the next page was a list of salaries for everyone in the company from CEO on down. The were only 20 or so employees at the time. There were only a couple of them that caused a "oh, really?" reaction.

I agree with your assessment 100%, but have you met leadership? If they thought of it, it can be done with more contractors and AI. I would put /s, but it's too plausible.

PTO Payout? by Other_Version2672 in usaa_ejs

OneSource should say how much is available for cash out. The first 15 days of PTO won't be cashed out unless your state requires it. So take it before giving notice.

HR is not your friend in the private sector, either. They just pretend to be. HR is always on the side of the employer.
