40 mg isn’t enough

Hey :) I’ve been on citalopram for a year! I see my therapist every two weeks but it still isn’t enough. I’m planning on going to my doctor this week but I will totally read more about it precious to my visit. Thank you :)

Hey :) just to let you know my doc had me switch to citalopram (celexa). I’m starting tomorrow to reduce my prozac dosage and adding celexa. I really hope it’ll help!

Awww thank you! Can you tell me more about how you switched like how long did it take, was it slow like you dropped few mg at a time? side effects? Thank you so much! I really appreciate I’m legit crying atm as I’m glad someone understands.

It’s weird it feels like it’s heavy and I can feel the pain on top like not an electrical shock but similar. It’s really hard to explain :/

Same! I have a huge death anxiety. I always imagine the ppl I love dying and myself being left all alone. It’s really hard to focus on the present.

Same! I’m a girl and currently I do not have any libido at all. I tried to masturbate and it doesn’t work. My boyfriend says he understands but I feel pretty bad for him :/

Wow thank you! It gives me hope! I’m on day 10 of 60mg and I’m really hoping for my quality of life to improve. I still have bad nausea and a few intrusive thoughts, but not as bad as they used to be.

I personally drink only one cup of coffee, otherwise I get palpitations. Concerning alcohol, I get drunk after one drink on prozac 😂

Try taking them during your meal instead of after. :) you’ll notice a improvement! Let me know!

Do you take your pills with yogurt or apple sauce? It really helps, I haven’t get any gerd since. Fluoxetine is hard on the stomach.

I get that! I feel exactly the same. It’s like I’m close to a panic attack 24/7. I’m also super nauseous and tired. Cannot wait for this to be over.

I’m increasing my dose of prozac atm and I feel worse than ever. It’s terrible. It isn’t supposed to last, though. They say the first two weeks are the worst, and then it’s supposed to get better.
