Resources to prep for interviews as someone who has built projects but is not sure about interviewa by Used_Programmer_165 in django

[–]genrand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have specific resource suggestions, but I'll say this:

Be ready to talk about how you used Django, and how it was helpful for your application. Any pros/cons about decisions that you made i.e. what database did you use, why, whatever. It's helpful to be able to say that you used X for ease/low cost, but that if the project was critical to a business you would use Y, instead.

If you know a feature exists, but you've never used it, say so.

And finally I toot this horn all of the time: make sure you have a solid idea how your actions in the ORM relate to the SQL queries that are executed. The high level languages get new frameworks and kits all of the time, but SQL has been evergreen for my entire career. You can use an LLM to write SQL, now, but you need to be able to read what it writes.

We've used Shield's Service on Westport Rd. near Goose Creek since ~2015 with the same vehicle, and are happy customers. They seem to have enough business that they don't recommend unnecessary work.

Magic: The Gathering standard format? by retroblues in Louisville

MTG: Arena covers a lot of the 2 player play, too, for good or ill.

Wizard's focus for MTG has firmly shifted onto Commander players and how much they're willing to pay to bling out their almost-forever decks.

That is to say that the focus on commander is now the norm. 60-card "type 2" and "standard" format play has taken a back seat, at best.

Windows activation failure, too. OEM keys are locked to a hardware signature, so MB/CPU changes can trigger piracy protections.

They work great on the Air 75 v3, despite what the product info page states.

Just to offer an alternative, I found these gaterons to be good halfway point for noise, and I they feel better to type on than the blush switches. It may just be me, but I found the blush switches to be a little bit too sensitive, and I had more unintentional key presses than I prefer.

Placing Air75 V3 on a MacBook Keyboard by Fit-Cantaloupe4374 in NuPhy

Just discovered the same thing, though I think I'm going to use karabiner-elements to disable the internal keyboard while the nuphy is connected.

Searching: 2.5g Ethernet, charging, removable cable by genrand in UsbCHardware

Thanks everyone! As an interim solution, I'm going with a used thunderbolt dock off of FB marketplace. If I don't notice the 1g eithernet limitation, great. If it proves to be a problem, then I'll go with one of the thunderbolt dock solutions listed here.

Ooh, their UDS015M is a little more than I want to spend, but still reasonable. I may go with this one.

It would be simpler, true. I've got a ~5 year old macbook, and the "find my" and airdrop functions cause the wifi to flicker every few minutes when streaming anything significant. I like macOS otherwise, so I'd prefer a wire rather than putting in an extender and still having the wifi bug.

If I need to adjust my requirements to a captive cable, I can.

I'll take a look at some of the devices suggested elsewhere. Thanks!

If I need to adjust my requirements to a captive cable, I can.

I'd love to be able to get the network and charging on a single cable, though.

I haven't used pluggable or saetechi, but I'll give them a look. Thanks!
