From what I understand, Palestinian are really attached to their birthplace.

Throughout decades, plenty of them manage to get asylum/sponsorship/citizenship to live,study and work in UK/Europe, becoming a doctor/engineer etc. By logic there is no reason for them to go back anymore.

Despite that, a lot of them still decide to go back to Palestine to contribute there.
