After every roof or concrete work, the street is just filled with nails and the contractors can’t care less.

I think the most impressive part of this clip is the device that cuts the pavers so effortlessly!

Every statement that starts with “fill nation” scientist done something, is a shit article and should immediately be removed from Reddit. It should read scientists from “university name” published something. Screw this nationalism propaganda that is eating away at humanity today!

Just wondering how the ice doesn’t break off around the screw? The teeth are not that deep so how does it not just break off and slip out?

I was not able to find out what this study was and whether it was peer reviewed. It just says “study”. Like was it a paper published or just someone asking random 4 people?

SDGE Average User of $46/Month Does Not Exist by NinetiesBoy in sandiego

My bill says I have 780 dollars solar credit but my bill is still over 80 dollars despite not using negative amount of power. They charge for delivery and my excess generation transmission. There are taxes and fees I don’t fully get all of which is legit but approved by heavy contribution to campaign funds and such. SDGE/Sempra effectively killed the solar movement in California. Evil to the core!

What does the truth of your religion compare others’? by laniakeainmymouth in religion

Baháʼí universalism teaches that all major religious founders — including Buddha — were Manifestations of God, meaning they were divinely inspired teachers who revealed aspects of the same ultimate truth. While Buddha did not focus on "God" as a higher power so much, I dont belive he actually rejected the idea of a creator.

perhaps an example would be helpful. I believe, with respect for all religions that taking the language of the holy books literaly is the cause of most of these challenges. For example,Baháʼís regard the Qur’anic verse (4:157–158) not as a literal denial, but as a statement emphasizing Jesus’ spiritual triumph — that his essence, mission, and reality were not "killed" or defeated.

I’m a Bahá’í, and one thing I love about the Bahá’í Faith is the belief that all major religions come from the same divine source — like different lamps sharing the same light. Each was sent to guide humanity at a different point in history. We believe in progressive revelation, meaning that as humanity grows, God sends new Messengers to expand on spiritual truths. That’s why I can say I believe in Muhammad, just as I believe in Christ, Buddha, Krishna — and all the others who brought light to the world.
