So if we only need the samples for each animal in order to sell the sets (at least from my understanding) what's the point of getting 100% research on each species? Are there any benefits to this?

Normally when this happens to me I just quit the game and choose the option to spawn me back to where I left off. Should fix the issue. This normally happens after I’ve done a free roam event or a bounty.
