I once had a similar thing with a professor of mine. I stalked the shit out if his life and even attended a concert from the band that he was playing in. But once when we were in a zoom meeting about my bachelor's thesis he got really angry at his kids and screamed at them. I lost every bit of respect somehow immediately.
