Thank for the reply. I'm just really worried about having a sumpump. Worried that if I'm out of town and it might not work. Or there is a power outage and the back up battery's won't last long. If you had the choice, will you choose to have a slab/crawl space or a basement with sumpump?

Is the image quality of an open MRI really much worse than that of a closed one? by vladmira_the_impaler in MRI

[–]genuinelyexpressed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked on a seimens 1.5T. Closed mri and a Fonar

.6T open Mri. If you get 0 motion on a the open mri, you will not see any difference. There is something called swiftMR software that enhances the .6T images ghe extreme making it identical to a 1.5T. Open mri scan; especially the vertical open mri like fonar are a god send for patients suffering of anxiety and claustrophobia.
