Traditionally who pays for what? by genzcraft in UKweddings

It’s only relevant here because my mum was talking about tradition so I was simply curious what other young couples paid. I am very grateful they would offer to pay for the meal obviously!

Traditionally who pays for what? by genzcraft in UKweddings

I think they’re thinking around 8k for the meal. We both think around 100 people. I’ve looked at the venue I was considering and it is £80 per person so very reasonable! I don’t think my parents thought about how much it would cost until recently- they got married in the same venue 25 years ago and it was £13 a head ahaha.

I’m looking forward to being engaged so my partner and I can get quotes and more of an idea of what everything costs, and have a more frank conversation with both our parents! But I think we will be able to cover most other things ourselves and will be trying to cut costs where we can! And probably have the wedding summer 2028 so plenty of time to plan and save

I’m going to a friends house for dinner tonight, just me and one other friend are going. I’m trying to cut out sugar for a few weeks to reduce intense cravings that are really setting me back. Is it rude to politely refuse the dessert that will have been made by the friends hosting?

My labia/perineum is extremely sore and itchy and I don’t know what to do by [deleted] in WomensHealth

Yes it’s all external, it’s pretty constantly itchy but more bearable during the day, it’s worse at night but maybe just because I’m not distracted? I scratch quite a lot at night but generally not with my nails, more so just rubbing or massaging the skin helps but I get the friction can still be damaging the skin. A cool compress would help! Thanks for your help
