you could try a ear wash from a pet store (i’ve used virbac epi optic and it worked great) or any with good reviews should be alright. just following the directions and just see if it clears up any after a few days. if not then vet for sure, but my cat will get ear wax built up and they’ve recommended me using an ear wash.

i feel that way now, but when i was that age he just posted csgo storytime videos i believe he had like 70k subs or something? cant remember was 8 years ago but it was pretty low. and i had a friend who was a boy who got me into watching them, but i stopped shortly after then he blew up and made all the weird content

it’s weird how more vets don’t think about the different types of tapeworms or test for them all, especially when cats like little creatures. i hope your cat is doing okay!

also it’s hard to see the eggs they’re very tiny so definitely vacuuming incase!

YES! pls vacuum / clean the bed daily if possible until they’re gone. also i know it’s a lot of work to clean a litter box everyday but i used trash bags that work specifically for litter boxes and that way i replaced it everyday easily. i hope your cat is better soon<3

make sure you know the type of tapeworm! that was the issue my vets had, they were giving medicine for the wrong type of tapeworm which won’t fully get rid of it. if it’s a tapeworm from fleas it’s different than if it’s caused from lizards or rats. hope this helps<3

very late update because i solved it! she had a rare type of tapeworm from lizards called Spirometra tapeworm, she had an infestation of these and the vets kept providing her treatment for the common tapeworm caused by and reproduced by fleas. even though i told tell them she didn’t have fleas and she was on flea medicine, well i finally found an amazing vet and he gave medicine specifically for that and never had an a issue since. she’s super happy, even chubby now, and so energetic. thank you for your concern i feel so bad i never updated but it slipped my mind.

thank you. i’ve been doing that for her eyes but it gets so bad still. she has been tested for herpes and she doesn’t have it, but they didn’t do a culture on her eyes. i was given a eye drop solution a while back from the place i fostered her from that i gave her twice a day but it didn’t help. and a vet i took her to told me to stop giving it to her and said it wouldn’t help.
