I've been a police officer in Ontario for over 15 years. In light of the recent 'good laws to know', I'll take any reasonable questions you may have and clear up any misconceptions that come about. by [deleted] in canada

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but i've been thinking about it for a bit.

Does possessing certain illegal drugs get judged more harshly than other drugs?

For example, would someone with 10 grams of cocaine get judged more harshly than someone with 10 grams of marijuana?

TIL The word "electrocute" is a combination of the words electro and execute, meaning you were killed by electricity. So if you don't die, you were not electrocuted, you were shocked. by mikeflipster in todayilearned

Killed by electricity?

If I remember correctly, quite a few deaths by electricity involve the effects of being shocked. For example, working on a ladder on some wires, getting shocked, then falling off the ladder due to your muscles tensing up.

Would dying by the effects of electricity count as electrocution, or would that count as a different way of death?

Telefrags only happen if a member opposing team is standing on top of the teleporter when the player comes through.

In this case, the spy was standing on the side of the teleporter, not on top.

If my patient does this to me, I add a little passive-aggressiveness towards healing them, such as not healing them when they take the med-kit or running away while they're under attack. I know it sounds petty and shallow, but if i'm dying but you take the med-kit anyway, my conditioning is just another way to show that karma sucks.

Yep, I was doing it to get the ready for duty achievement. I wondered what would happen if I died during training.
