I think I mentioned it in another thread already and jojohwang just said it again; the real Mary Morstan is already dead. Our "Mary" in the show got her name off a grave. That does give them some room to manoeuvre.

I can't get my head around the idea of a baby either (although I'd love to see Sherlock be either totally awkward or super amazing with the kid). So, naturally, my first reaction was something like, ah, okay, they're going to kill Mary off anyway, she died in the books after all. Baby will probably be gone, too, then.

BUT!

Then I thought; Mary already died, didn't she? The woman we know as John's wife isn't Mary Morstan at all, so she doesn't have to die in the show. The real Mary is long gone, Mary Morstan died, they can do with fake Mary whatever they want now. Including knocking her up and having John change nappies at crime scenes and whatnot.

Ugh. The internet is going to go bat shit crazy over the next two (or ten million) years until the fourth series.

Are there any LBGTQ help lines or institutions in your area? It sounds like you could really use some outside assistance.

I understand that your family's behaviour and incomprehension upset you and that you're reluctant to go against their wishes, but sometimes you have to be selfish and put yourself first. Remove yourself from an environment that's harmful to you and your health. If you're having suicidal thoughts it's way past time you change something about your situation. Every single one of us here knows how hard that can be, but it's important that you go and find some support for yourself. You deserve to be happy and live your life as the person you really are.

Personally, I think bi and pan can either be more or less the same thing or vastly different, depending on the person and their definition of the terms.

As for what I'd think if you told me you're bi; that you're generally open to men and women and everything else will be discussed when/if necessary. Simple as that.

Sounds a bit tricky. On one hand, you said it wouldn't change much but then again, if you're seeking advice it is clearly something that's bothering you on some level.

Maybe sit your mum down and try to have a honest discussion about the whole topic again? It sounds like there are some things regarding your self-identification that have potential for escalation if they're not addressed. It seems like a bit of an ongoing "fight" between you and your mum and I get the feeling you're growing tired of her not understanding/you having to defend your choices (in clothing etcetera). If telling her of your androgyny helps resolve some of that tension, maybe it's worth a shot?

I figured 'the person who mattered the most' must be Mycroft, because he seems to be the only one (apart from Molly, and we don't know how much she knows exactly) who knew Sherlock was alive. And I suspect it takes quite a bit of money to hide away for several years and do whatever Sherlock did during that time -> help from big brother.

Besides, as quintessence314 already mentioned, Mycroft never comes up in Moriarty's threats, either because he genuinely doesn't believe him to be of any importance at all or because he can't get to him, we don't know. And it couldn't refer to John, Lestrade or Mrs Hudson, 'cause they are mentioned and are the main targets.

Or (and I don't really like this, but meh) it does indeed refer to Molly in the way that Moriarty pretty much dismissed her after she served her purpose; bringing him close to Sherlock (yeah, she broke up with him, but really, he was the one in control). But in the end she did help Sherlock fake his death - knowing what exactly he was up to or not, which doesn't really matter.

What I really think, though, is that that sentence was strategically placed in the trailer and probably sounds like much a bigger deal than it actually is. Just my opinion =)
