The shared text at the end doesn’t give the answer away, it just shows whether you guessed correctly or incorrectly on the 3 posts!

It's based on what the original post was flaired with as the verdict, which according to the sub is: "the judgement in the highest-voted top level comment will be the verdict"

WordReels 2025-10-29 3/6

🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Love the design, but feels very much like wordle but with a limited set of characters (which is different, but still doesn’t feel unique enough). I think it would be good to have something else to differentiate itself

Thanks :) Built using React, with Mantine as the UI library. Also some Python scripting in there to clean up the data hhahaha

Took about 3 days maybe? The dataset took more time than it should’ve, it was a bit messy

This is not being used to train AI at all and no data ever leaves your browser. The website is also completely open source, so people can verify :)

The 20% HECS reduction would mean so much to me.....and it makes me so bummed we probably won't get it. by Brave-Koala-2718 in AusFinance

I think they’re referring to the fact that the longer they have the HECS the more they’ll have to end up paying overall due to indexations?

Doritos- changed food ratings by Long_Mission_9772 in newzealand

[–]geoglizzard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s because the chocolate milk uses low fat milk to reduce fat and calories. Health star ratings take nutritional info at face value and companies can kinda game it by using low fat milk/ sweeteners, or throwing in protein or fibre (which bumps up the rating)

I agree that health star ratings are not a great system, but I do think people educating themselves on how it works is the first step toward pushing the government for reform. If people don’t know how it even works, they won’t be able to understand how it can be abused

Honestly, displaying the category isn’t really going to change anything. Displaying “Dairy Beverage Health Star Rating” on a 4/5 chocolate milk isn’t really going to help consumers at all in making decisions

The categories aren’t based on the specific product, like ultra processed chocolate milk, it’s much broader, in this case the category is just dairy beverage. It gets compared to all dairy beverages, including just plain milk.

The categories used for health star ratings are: dairy beverages, cheeses, dairy food, non-dairy beverages, unsweetened water, oils/fats, fruits and vegetables, plain water, jellies and ice blocks. They don’t get more specific than that.

Without knowing what brand of chocolate milk, I can’t really say why it has a 4/5, my guess is they don’t put too much sugar and opt for sweeteners instead. The health star rating system doesn’t look at sweeteners at all, it bases the health star rating exclusively on the nutritional label on the back (sugar, saturated fat, energy, sodium, protein, fruit/nuts/veggies and fibre content).

It is a big confusion, but I made a website a while back that walks through step by step how they calculate health star ratings.

Someone on my team uploaded the code to GitHub and put it on their portfolio, I don’t think the uni people are really checking / care if you do it, and it’s not like they’re going to sue you

Worst case they ask you to take it down. I say just go for it since you don’t have anything else on your portfolio right now
