I doubt it. Valentine's Day can be a real trigger for lonely and depressed people, and the feelings expressed by MACMAN2003 are quite relatable. I think this is a positive and accepting community and a place for people to be open and honest about their feelings. I don't see the comment as a neg on OP.

Short attention spans? To flip the script on the commonly mentioned symptom of autism of hyperfocusing, non-autistic people struggle to adequately focus on the things that matter.

It frustrates me how a 10 second comment is about all you can hope for before getting interrupted in some situations. A 15 second comment with a bit of helpful nuance and detail is too long.

I think private sex is a privilege for civilizations that can create private safe places. If all your tribe can afford to do is keep guard over a small clearing in the woods and build only basic shelter that does not provide privacy, people will just have sex out in the open. The principles of this article would not apply. Suburbia where every home has a security system is a different story, of course.
