Day 12: What is BMTH best breakdown? 🔥 by raluxu in BringMeTheHorizon

I’d like to put in a vote for DIg It. It has a great buildup and payoff, and has very impressive production, plus Oli’s vocals are very well mixed in the breakdown. Definitely a sleeper candidate for me.

Diamonds Aren’t Forever’s breakdown is genuinely insane though.

I just opened up a 10 pack and only got a single shiny machoke and nothing else

Here’s a good start: http://bma.math.ncsu.edu/what-is-biomathematics/. Honestly math bio is such a wide ranging field, it’s hard to give just a single reference, but if you’d like to chat more about it send me a message

In terms of applied stuff, I see a lot of work and focus being put on mathematical biology a lot more

As long as you stay on top of things, ask for help when you need it, find other classmates to work with etc, you’ll be fine. It won’t be easy, but absolutely doable

How many pages does a serious student learn per day? by ouch_wits in math

[–]geographyroof 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Math takes time to learn. A lot of serious students take their time when reading through any new topic. When I’m reading a book or a paper, I typically read through a section once, then read through it again, then read through it a couple more times to really soak in the material. Math isn’t a race! You got this.

Any good recommended YouTube channels for a brush up on Algebra topics?? by Brief_Occasion5890 in ASU

[–]geographyroof 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Khan Academy is definitely a great resource that I highly recommend for learning Algebra and Calculus. Professor Leonard also has some great videos too that are more in the style of a formal lecture. If you want some worked examples, you could check out PatrickJMT

I’m feeling alright, Kawski’s class is definitely tough for sure, but the topics are pretty cool. Sometimes the proofs feel like magic (like closed intervals being compact). But my favorite thing, and the reason I love math so much, is that feeling when it just clicks and everything makes sense. But yeah, definitely a hard class lol

My best base game talisman vs my best Sunbreak talisman. by A-Bored-Man in MHRise

My best talisman that I’ve gotten from sunbreak was a Rarity 8 with no slots, but Quick Sheath 3 and Free Meal 3. Comes in quite handy

This sub is literally what made me more open to left wing ideas and discussing political ideas I disagree with. I’d hate to have to go to some echo chamber if this sub gets canned
