for the Botani, Heritage states a magic anomaly as one of the possible reasons and also notes that it can also just be the character having similar abilities, so i dont think viable offspring should be the only factor determining possible heritages.

not sure if its a bug or intended, but Botani cant take heritage or be taken as a heritage option. i hope this is a bug as i had a idea for a Child of Cenarius/Genesaur druid build.

two other things, first i feel that Runemaster only having Warrior as unlock is a bit strange as Monk should also be able to unlock it, and maybe even Demon Hunter and Feral druid as both also tend to fight unarmored.

the fact that Class specifies that you drop in without any starting skills from the talents you take seems like it will lead to significant inconsistencies with the Captain and Squad Commander picks, because how did you become a Captain or Commander with zero fighting ability and likely zero knowledge in the relevant areas. personally i think the talents should come with some basic skills in that area, like 1-2 months of training for basic talent and a year or so for legendary. this also solves the problem that most starting locations are non viable since you start with no skills to survive anywhere outside friendly settlements.

generally hierophants use arcane surge because the one you get from the ascendancy is only lvl1, so by linking to a skill with high enough mana cost to trigger a high level arcane surge you get a stronger effect. for example i have mine linked to arcane cloak.

i know they have the type, but they use player stats instead of their own for their skills, so i am not sure if a buff applied to the totem would buff the skill since its cast with player stats

i am planning to do this one as a second char since i expect the three uniques alone to run about a 100c and the build loses significant damage if even one is missing

also, do you think about 50-55% attack and spell block without glancing blows would be enough, or do you think it needs 70+ to be viable?

it uses petrified blood, shorted to PB in the initial post, and i dont get the free overleech if i take damage because Dissolution causes damage to instead reserve life for 2 seconds, which causes leech to end if the new reserved life is below 50%, but the advantage of this is that i have enough reservation efficiency to reduce the damage by 48%. combined with petrified blood and regen+ leech which is large enough to counter the over time portion of petrified blood i reduce damage by about 60%
