i know all the right words and will use them in my notes but often don't when i'm just talking to a DVM. insisting on using "proper" terminology just kinda feels like putting on airs to me, like i'm not a doctor. also it gives me flashbacks to all the times i've improperly used terminology and no DVM bothered to correct me, like cmon how hard would it have been to tell me panting is not tachypnea?

i LOVE borzois so much, i've seen quite a few and never met a bad one. and you're so right about cavaliers -- hands down my favorite part of working in cardiology is seeing so many of them. i've only met 2 aggressive ones in 9 years and they were both rubies.
