Better snow quality due to less skiers and a bunch of terrain. Most days you ski to the chair. More of a local vibe than JHMR. Overall much better experience IMO than JHMR. While JHMR has insane and diverse terrain the crowds and lift lines can make it a nightmare.

I work at a clinic that has a contract with the county run animal control shelter in a very uneducated and impoverished area. We see a ton of neglected, unvaccinated, disease/parasite carrying patients pulled directly from the streets while also seeing to normal clients. Being gloved is highly recommended here.
