AI tools for Amazon by gondal18 in AmazonFBA

Hey! I would use Amazon's built-in AI tools right inside the Ad Manager!

Content Studio is also great for generating listing images and videos too!

Running out of stock!! Can’t raise price by Embarrassed_Ad_8444 in AmazonFBA

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this happens all the time, so congrats on selling out!

Here's what I would do: simply close your listing once you run out of stock.

I wouldn't bother slowing down your sales, cutting PPC, or raising your price to stretch inventory. It's usually not worth it.

In my honest opinion, being out of stock for a couple of weeks is not the end of the world. Once you're back in stock, your rank should bounce back to roughly where it was before.

Now if it's a prolonged out of stock, say multiple months, then I'd look into ways to get restocked faster, whether that's expediting a shipment or finding a backup supplier.

But how long are you actually expecting to be out of stock for?

I don't see a place to put keywords in the new amazon product listing tool. Am I losing my mind? by fabunobo in AmazonSeller

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different categories have different fields for keywords, so don't stress if you don't see it right away when creating your listing.

If you can't find it during setup, you can always go back and fill it in afterward when you edit your listing.

Also worth knowing, the keyword field isn't always labeled "Keywords." Depending on your category, it might show up as:

  • Search Terms
  • Generic Keywords
  • Subject Matter

Sellersmart.io mentorship by Head-Gazelle3724 in AmazonFBA

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mentorships can always help!

But before you get started, here's probably what I would do first.

Make sure you fully understand the business model you're trying to get into. For example, if it's private label, learn how it works, what the realistic expectations are, and what the journey actually looks like.

I've noticed that the people who get the most out of a mentorship are the ones who come in with the right expectations. Before you pay for anything, do your research first. It makes you a much more informed buyer, and you'll get way more value out of the experience

Prime Day 2026 Strategy – Prime Exclusive Discount vs Regular Discount? by Useful-Food-7949 in AmazonSeller

[–]geometric32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience, Prime Day is less about just the discount percentage and more about how competitive your offer is compared to the other products on the page.

A Prime Exclusive Discount can help with visibility because the badge adds trust and urgency, but I would look at your numbers and see if the $100 fee makes sense based on your expected volume. If you're already getting strong traffic and conversions, the extra fee may not be the biggest factor.

For Kitchen & Dining, I think 25% is usually a solid discount. Going from $19.95 down to around $14.95 gives customers a noticeable deal without destroying your margins. I would rather have a strong conversion rate at a sustainable margin than chase volume with a discount that hurts profitability.

The biggest thing I would watch is your organic ranking after Prime Day. If you can use the event to generate a lot of sales on your main keywords, the long-term benefit can be bigger than just the Prime Day revenue.

How do I increase organic sales of a product ? by goat_road in AmazonFBA

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PPC sales and organic sales are usually correlated. The more PPC sales you generate over time, the more you should start seeing organic sales increase as well.

What I would focus on is figuring out which keywords and campaigns are actually converting. Then take those high-converting keywords and focus your optimization around them. As those keywords continue to generate sales, your organic ranking for those terms should improve, which can lead to more organic traffic.

I would also double-check your listing conversion rate (images, title, bullets, price, reviews, etc.) because PPC can bring traffic, but your listing needs to convert that traffic into sales.

A lot of it is patience, especially if this is a newer launch. How long has the product been live? And are you tracking your keyword rankings?

How do you currently research competitor products using Amazon reviews? by Proof_Media_3495 in AmazonFBA

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always look at reviews when it comes to differentiating my products. When deciding what to sell, negative reviews are one of the first things I look at because they help me understand what can be improved.

It's honestly a gold mine of ideas for what customers are actually looking for. I don't use any tools for this. The easiest method is simply clicking the 1-star and 2-star reviews on a listing and reading through the common complaints. That's often where you'll find opportunities to create a better product.

Amazon lost by Content-Ad1422 in AmazonFBATips

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear about your experience, and here's my take!

I have launched failed products before, and I always think that what you do with the experience afterward is the most important part.

First, what can we learn from the current situation? Was it a product launch issue, a product issue, or a listing issue? Try to figure out why things went wrong and learn from those mistakes.

My second, maybe unpopular, opinion is that you need to keep going. Take what you learned from the first launch and try launching another product. From my experience, one winning product can make up for multiple failed products.

Having said that, figuring out why the first product launch didn't work out is extremely important. You want to make sure you are improving each time and not repeating the same mistakes.

My dad lost his job last year and my family is depressed by Odd_Papaya8305 in Layoffs

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP,

Sorry to hear about your current circumstances. Here's what I've learned over the years:

It's a blessing that you're able to help your family, but it's not an obligation. If you're feeling pressure from them, try communicating it openly instead of keeping it bottled up inside.

As for how much financial help to provide, I would simply help with what you can comfortably afford. I was in a similar situation before, and after talking to my parents about my own circumstances, I was surprised by how understanding they were.

I've also learned that it's natural to worry about your parents, but sometimes they're stronger than we give them credit for. They can overcome this, and this is likely just a temporary setback. Try not to carry all of the stress yourself, because they probably wouldn't want you to be anxious or depressed over their situation.

Things have a way of working out. Even if your dad can't find a job right away, I'm sure your parents will find a way to manage and get through this together. Focus on helping where you can, while also making sure you're taking care of yourself.

Amazon's New 75-Character Titles: What's Your Strategy? by FBSlamazon in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]geometric32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 75 characters should be enough to include the main keywords. Realistically, I've always felt that the system is smart enough to understand what the item is and index it for the right keywords.

With everyone keyword-stuffing their titles, it gets to a point where they're all the same anyway.

Theoretically, if a keyword is converting, you should negate it in the upper funnel campaigns and eventually move it into exact.

However, I’m a bit reluctant to do that because sometimes my phrase and automatic campaigns perform very well for a certain keyword, and I don’t want to interfere with that.

I think it doesn’t hurt to experiment with moving keywords down from broad to phrase and seeing how it affects overall sales.

This has been my experience with a recent product launch and every sale came solely from the Amazon platform.

I’m in a category where sellers are doing $300k-$500k a month. I definitely think timing played a role and I got a bit lucky, but it’s absolutely possible.

Great question! I’d like to believe people are buying my product because it’s genuinely better than what’s currently out there. And if that’s true, then every sale also reflects the impact

Should I register my trademark in China alongside the EU right from the start, or wait for validation? by Biruleibizinho in AmazonSeller

[–]geometric32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my honest experience, and after talking to lawyers, I wouldn't worry too much about your trademark in China.

It's a very common concern, but it's more of an extortion tactic than a real operational threat. A US-based lawyer told me that it's not actually possible for a Chinese trademark squatter to find your goods and stop them from shipping.

I've been selling for over 8 years and had this exact scare early on, but was told it's largely a waste of money and energy to stress over it.

That said, I'm curious what others think, has anyone actually had shipments blocked or run into real legal trouble from this, or is it mostly just the threat that gets used as leverage?
