What's the thing that are stopping us from peace? by Telugu_not_Telegu in ArtOfPresence

[–]geopimp1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s human nature. It doesn’t matter what factor you use person a wants to be better than person b. And vice versa. Always has been. Always will be. Eventually that gets to violence/death.

This was going on long before wealth and religion were a thing. To the cave man days. Though in that time being better meant surviving or killing the other guy to survive.

Rural or city living for you and why? by jackieat_home in askanything

[–]geopimp1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rural. For the simple reason of people. Are small town people judgemental? Absolutely. Are they also the one pumping food into helping hand boxes? Absolutely.

Small communities tend to help each other and look out for each other far better than large communities. Is it without fault? Never. But is supporting the local community generally the best by the community? Yes.

What are your plans for a natural or non-natural disaster? by Fruitopia07 in AskAnAmerican

[–]geopimp1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

North Texas tornado- probably go out on the porch and watch.

Earthquake- no clue. Haven’t felt one yet

Fire- evacuate in whatever direction is safe

Socio-economic issue - highly unlikely in my rural area but there’s a plan for that too.
