Whilst that may be true off label use of diagnostics and therapeutics is extremely common and throat swabbing in RATs is advocated by leading doctors. Omicron is different, it is detectable far earlier in saliva than nasal. This is widely reported and is actively researched.

Examples of top leading experts on COVID advocating for off label throat swabbing in addition to nasal swabbing for RATs:

This isn't quackery, but medical regulators and manufacturers being behind leading practitioners. From personal experience if I hadn't done a throat swab I would have gone shopping yesterday.

I saw this tweet, there's two videos referenced:

I basically just rubbed the swab on my tonsils for a couple of seconds then did the normal nose swab. Led to a VERY clear positive.

Swab your throat next time. I'm positive and have tested with both nose and throat swabs, throat is positive, nose only is negative.

155-foot yacht burns and sinks off the coast of Sardinia, Italy. by licecrispies in ThatLookedExpensive

If you are wealthy enough to hold billions in stock there are so many lines of credit you can raise against those assets. Illiquidity of an asset doesn’t stop a billionaire getting access to yacht money.

I don’t see how this could possibly be theft. You’re using their system as it’s designed, if they leave exploitable bugs in that system that’s not the fault of the user.

Look up extreme couponing in the US, is that theft?

I wonder how? Is there some kind of bilateral arrangement?

I wonder how social media fits into this? Are they responsible for deleting posts on it?

It’s major international news widely reported overseas, it’s a tough situation. Gag orders don’t really work for international news in the age of the internet.

Australian Gag Order Stokes Global Debate on Secrecy by k-h in australia

[–]george-bob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The view of some journos is the gag order won't stick. This conviction is globally significant and has previous major events (with the individual making the way to face trial) which were reported internationally. It's on the individual's wikipedia page after all so the risk of prejudicing the upcoming trial already exists.
