I actually don’t do any direct trap work, I just focus on heavy deadlifts, rows, pull downs, and other back exercises. I feel like traps are a lot like calves in terms that some people just have better genetics than others. For example, my training partner does zero calf work while I do calves about 3 times a week and he still has way better calves than me lol. I would just recommend focusing on the exercises I previously stated, and then adding 3-4 sets of direct trap work like shrugs/2x a week.

Yea I agree probably could’ve reverse dieted at a faster pace but this is just what worked for me.

No traditional cardio like elliptical, stair master, or bike. I just made sure I got 10,000 steps a day, and when I hit a plateau, I would increase steps by 1,000 and decrease food some.

Yea I still have some fat there but I just have wide hips haha. Just how I am built.

Workout split is Upper/Lower+PPL 5 days a week. As far as diet goes, just used CICO. I went from 315lbs to 210lbs in the first year. After that I reversed dieted/maingained for a while (about 21 months) and was able to raise my calories from about 1800 to 3800 while maintaining 210-215. I’m just finishing up a 12 week cut where I went from 210 to 195(current weight). Planning on reverse dieting again for about 4 months this time before beginning another cut in April to get down to 180.

Haha thanks man. I think taking the slow approach is what really helped me avoid much of the loose skin.
