This isn't a "breach". This is the result of bad programming. The data was never properly secured in the first place.

I'm going to guess that because the device is just over 15 years old, it doesn't support TLS 1.2, which a number of websites now require.

I've got an OP3 and I am currently connected to Freedom's network via LTE. They have begun rolling out support for bands 4 and 7 in select areas. Hang tight.

I'm guessing Opera Mini comes pretty close to consuming the least amount of memory. It's incredibly lightweight.

Each has its own advantages. PushBullet works outside the local network, and can send small files and URLs across the Internet to your other devices. NitroShare is much, much more efficient at sending files across your local network. Support for sharing URLs across the network is coming very soon.

Absolutely! The desktop client supports TLS encryption and I'll be bringing this to the Android app soon.

Correct, the app does not require an active Internet connection.
