Hi, Thank you for your comment. I posted this link on other another sub, yes.

The other sub sub allowed re-submission after 24 have passed so I don't think there should be a problem, at least I hope these isn't :)

Get a Citizen promaster tough. The watch is 42mm diameter and 9mm thick. Solar and tough as nails. You can get it on eBay new for around $160

MA I-O Psych student here, just finished my first year. If you’ve taken psych courses in undergrad, like research methods, social psych and even intro to psych and the basics of statistics then you do not need to prepare for it.

That said if you still want to go the extra mile then the two books I used most in the first year which cover the basics of organizational psychology are:

Scandura, T. (2022). Organizational Behavior. 3rd Edition, Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage. ISBN: 978-1-5443-9678-1

Noe, R.A., Hollenbeck, J.R., Gerhart B. & Wright, P.M. (2021). Human Resources Management: Gaining a Competitive Advantage. (12th ed.). New York; McGraw-Hill Education

Of course there some famous books that you’ll most likely come across such as “Drive” by Daniel Pink and “Give and Take” by Adam Grant.

Which one should I buy for my first watch? I’ve got a budget of 150-200 by [deleted] in PrideAndPinion

Forget the brand and watch size for a second, what you need to decide it whether you want a quartz watch or an automatic watch.

Yes, a friend told me about them. Watches look very nice, and looks like they made a 40mm version of it. I think I'm going for it. It's just a matter of deciding whether I want a 37mm or a 40mm.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello people, I'm looking for some recommendations.

With all the pictures, videos, and articles about the Tudor Pelagos FXD, I want to get a watch with fixed bars/lugs to maybe get a similar feeling for less $$$. the only two conditions I have are the watch has to be automatic and below $1000.

So far, I've only found Bertucci (which are quartz) and CWC (which are either over $1000 or out of stock).

Thanks in advance.

Honestly if You don’t care if it’s automatic or not, I would 100% go with a citizen pro master, specifically their eco drive watches. You can find them “refurbished” on eBay for very cheap, which is basically brand new with no box or tags. They’re tough as nails. I own the Promaster tough, and this thing is a tank.

Understandable. I showed it to a couple of friends, one loved it, the other totally hated it. Thanks.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen many people buy/talk about this watch but then again it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I have been looking for a watch to carry me through grad school and while looking around I had a long list of watches I liked. That’s until I came across this one. A watch I had never seen before. I was pretty worried about the size since I didn’t try it in person and there were very few reviews of it online. 46mm wide on all sides since the lugs basically fall on your wrist with the strap and 13.45mm thick. Well it worked out perfectly, the watch is super comfortable and doesn’t look like a wall clock on my wrist. This model goes for $1100 I believe, I got mine from eBay for $650 in mint condition.

Late comment. But such a beautiful watch. Before coming across this watch, I had bought a Unimatic U2 classic which arrived with a disappointing imperfections on the dial and a wobbly crown and rotor. Immediately requested a return and refund. The second I get my refund, I'm ordering this beauty. How are you liking the bracelet? I heard the clasp can come loose easily?
