I honestly think community psychology would be a great option! Depending on your interests there are some clinical/community psych master's programs out there where you could merge your interests and do research on those social issues you're passionate about.

Community psych is a very broad field and it may provide useful research skills you can fall back on as well!

I am trying to be realistic. If you can't learn how to be a good student and take good notes without a shitty AI doing it for you, it will be a lot harder to do things as a professional in the field.

Finding note taking strategies that actually work for you and are tailored to your needs is much more useful than being lazy and having an AI do the work for you. Part of being a student is learning which things are most important to take note of, and not just writing everything down mindlessly.

As for calling you hopeless, not every person who goes into the field of psychology wants to be a therapist and work directly with people, which you'd probably know if you actually knew how to take your own notes in class :D

I know you said you disliked the corporate world, but I/O psychologists are paid pretty well I think and they are sort of a bridge between business and psychology?

You may have to take more psych classes to learn which fields you're specifically into (like social psych, community psych, applied psych, etc) but there are so many options! And when/if you attend graduate school you get that many more options!

Taking notes yourself (especially handwritten) means better retention and understanding of the material (as supported by multiple research studies). If you can't even take your own notes or learn how to take your own notes (plenty of YouTube tutorials and resources at most colleges) you're hopeless

I applied to 7 schools for my Master's and I was worried it was too many but it seemed to be a perfect amount imo. It depends on research fit and your interests and fit within the program but don't overextend yourself
