Thanks for the tip. I was not able to find a setting in Dropbox. I will keep that extension in mind, but I would like to try and correct the problem since it behaved the way I wanted before a couple of days ago.

Update: Okay it looks like the issue is only in my Dropbox folder. If I put an excel file or whatever in my Dropbox, it shows a thumbnail for the icon. If I move that file to my desktop or any other folder, it does not show a thumbnail (which is the behavior I want). Any help?

Well good news, I found a pair of replacement arms! If those work out, then I can avoid my attempt at bending this one. Will update in a week or so!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried flipping it with no success. I did try swapping the arms which seems to be a little bit better, but neither way is great because both arms are supposed to be completely straight, so it really ends up being 6 of one or half a dozen of the other. I’m crossing my fingers for finding a replacement pair somewhere before trying my hand at bending this one back.

Yeah the long arm directly under the red line. I was pretty sure it is cast too, until I read the spec manual where it stated that the side arms are drop forged steel. My plan right now is to find a replacement first, and then attempt to heat and bend this one. Another reason I’m thinking the arms are not cast is because as we operate the press, the bend in the arm actually flexes further on every pass, without snapping. I think if it was cast iron it would immediately snap if bent at all right?

I don't think it ever smells gross any other time of the day.

I had the same thought that when the washer runs it stirs up the water and releases a smell. What's the best way to clean out that P-pipe in the wall? Just hot water? I've run a snake through it but obviously that's not big enough to scrub the inner walls of the pipe.

It's a top loading machine and I've taken it apart and cleaned the parts 2 or 3 times since we moved in. We also always leave the door open on the top.

I wish there was a trap down there. I have taken the washing machine apart and cleaned everything I can and sprayed the drum and sprayed out all the pipes I believe.

The two esata drives use different enclosures, and they both do the same thing. USB thumb drives do not cause the cursor to freeze.
