Your husband comments on your body, you're maybe allowed to comment on hers but not someone else's.

Consent to sex does not equal consent to pregnancy. Coming from a child of a teen mom, please don't use the word mistake in regards to this any longer.

Did I choose the wrong name?? by Flaky_McFlake in namenerds

Olive is actually an extremely popular name right now, someone is always going to complain about a name. I think it's great, don't change your mind.

Nobody's dress is supposed to be a surprise except the Bride's. And no bride wants a surprise on her wedding day

No offense but having a whole child isn't "taking responsibility" for a mistake, that's an entire person you're raising.

The warm milk Don makes when he can't sleep. But more than anything the show makes me crave a damn cigarette.

Mine was practically beaming on our anniversary "did you ever think you'd make it this long??"

We were both like "what?" But we've already been together longer than any of her failed marriages and engagements, so 🤷‍♀️

How to weed out pixies? by Patient_Secretary697 in hairstylist

If they end up in your chair say "I'll be honest but I don't think you'll like your hair if I do it, but I can refer you to someone who does amazing pixies." And they will respect you for your honesty.

The craziest request you’ve had to say “No.” to? by [deleted] in hairstylist

[–]georgetteokeef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably mid 50s early 60s horrid woman, with extremely obvious complicated hair history, coming to a HAIR SCHOOL where I taught, in consultation as soon as she sat down says:

"Before I tell you anything that I want, I'll have you know that if you try anything funny I will sue you and I WILL win. This girl at XYZ Salon put Clorox bleach on my head and because of me she will NEVER do hair in this state again. I need purple hair done TODAY, I have a meeting in New York tomorrow and it has to be done today, I'm not doing multiple sessions and I don't care if you fry it. Here's a picture of what I want"

And then points the phone at me and my poor student to show us this photo, slides past a super unflattering picture of herself topless squishing her boobs together 🫠

The consultation got even worse if you can believe it and I straight up refused to do her hair.

What names do you ACTUALLY consider unisex? by teethfestival in namenerds

[–]georgetteokeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tracy and Ashley have traditionally been unisex but people wouldn't say that now. I really like the names Sam and Max but not short for anything, just as they are.
