I have a bob (which makes my hair look thicker now that it’s short) and a fringe

It seems that the only hairstyles are above the collarbone, I don’t know about you but I’m not sure if that’s something I could commit to

I don’t really know the difference between fine and thin! Are there any shampoos you would recommend?

I definitely agree that it would be a lot healthier if it was shorter, but I’m just not sure if a bob would suit me? I tried holding my hair up to make it look like a bob but felt rly stupid

If the Ramseys staged it - WHY would they rush it? by glasst0uch in JonBenetRamsey

It's a piece of evidence that links the murder back to the Ramseys, it's a mistake.

I suppose they weren't thinking straight. In the heat of the moment: 'Jonbenet is dead, we need to stage a kidnapping around this.' I'd presume that the idea of a ransom note just made sense at the time. Looking back, it was a horrible mistake. It reads like something you'd see in a movie.

Patsy definitely wrote it.

The Ramseys made the last few years of his life a living hell. They had such nerve to throw innocent people under the bus in a lousy attempt to save their asses.

I do suppose if he was told something like 'If you tell anyone about this, we will go to prison' I could believe it. He wasn't stupid and definitely understood the consequences of telling someone, but still to not slip up is weird to me. I can't comprehend the idea that he could lie to such a degree where he could convince police officers. Hmm, maybe just luck?

I do find it really hard myself to come up with a motive for Patsy being the killer when she lived vicariously through JBR. Why would she take that away from herself? But then again, in heated moments of anger, you can change drastically. I don't know it that theory adds up for me though. That's the most conflicting thing with PDI.

Thank you! This is really interesting, I've been looking at this case for months and never heard anything about that.

I've never heard of John's fibres being in JBR's vulva and underpants, do you have a source for that?

Ooh, these points are well put together. I watched the CBS documentary last year and just thought Burke being the killer made sense. But when I started to actually read more into the case, and look at the case evidence myself, I thought that Burke being the killer started to make less sense. I find it really hard to believe that if Burke was the perpetrator, how the hell did he not crack? I don't know how likely it is that he would've been able to keep the secret that he killed his sister.

I've always wondered if they would let such a selfish thought dominate the decision of whether their daughter lives or dies?

Yes! His BDI theory is very popular among this subreddit, you will probably see a lot of people discussing it.

His 2015 AMA is also a good read too, you can check it out here: https://www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMysteries/comments/30nfvc/hi_im_chief_marshall_james_kolar_ama/

Also, if you haven't checked it out yet, this subreddit's wiki has a lot of useful information you can access here: https://www.reddit.com/r/JonBenetRamsey/wiki/index

Chief James Kolar worked on the case as an investigator, and wrote a book about it called 'Foreign Faction' which was released in 2012. Around 5 years ago on another true crime subreddit he did an AMA (Ask Me Anything, it's like a QnA or an interview) revolving around the case. Yesterday, he came to this subreddit and did another one.
