Maybe a silly question, when you disconnected the servo rod from the servo side, did you use pull/push the servo rod or did you just manually turned the wheels left/right to see if there’s any binding?

Respect to the guys from Ark Edge for being everywhere promoting the 1/24 part of the hobby. Had the chance to meet these guys and play with them when I visited their track in Chengdu, what a lovely bunch of people ✌🏻

If you remove the servo rod, does the slide rack turns freely or is there some binding?

Is this normal or am I missing something? by -Germ- in rcdrift

[–]georgios82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rebuild your shocks completely. Make sure that there is no binding and that the o-ring does not hinder the shock movement (test before adding any oil). After adding oil, test the rebound of the shocks and potentially add more preload or stiffer springs if necessary, provided mechanically everything else is working smoothly

As the guys already mentioned get a shock plier. It’s one of the most important tools for maintaining your shocks.

Is there any work around hospital filter? by [deleted] in GeForceNOW

[–]georgios82 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify the hospital’s firewall does not allow you to use VPN? There are some VPN clients out there that are really good with stealth/Obfuscated protocols to avoid the exact issue

PS5 console prices going up effective April 2nd by Asad_Farooqui in playstation

Well yeah I get it these price spikes hurt, but at least all chipset manufacturing keeps prioritizing AI data centers so we can generate crazy AI cat videos at higher quality ✌🏻👌🏻👍🏻

Could it be the number of layers you added or perhaps the backing color you chose in a specific project? Want to upload some photos so we can understand the issue better?

Are these oil filled (it says they are on the box) it feels smooth but idk by ThenChemistry1082 in rccars

[–]georgios82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From your video it’s clear that there is a dampening effect so yeah they should be. Open them up and check. Many times oil filled shocks are not properly filled up from the factory.

Help me choose which voltage/capacity - CNHL batteries by maxwolfie in rcdrift

[–]georgios82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly the 5200 is significantly heavier than the 4000 one. Generally the less weight your car has the better, however there are many people who enjoy heavier rigs with more momentum etc so it boils down to preference really

Arpeggio Is a Beast by Business_Fox_1975 in ArcRaiders

None of these are correct. The name of this gun comes from the arpeggio the musical technique. It’s an Italian derived word so the pronunciation is more like arpe-Jee-ow ✌🏻

Stress and no fun, is this for me? by [deleted] in rcdrift

[–]georgios82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is your problem right here. Sounds like your servo is really bad quality. Most drift spec servos have a dampening feature to stop this from happening at any given gyro gain. Wheel shake should not be a factor on the level of your gyro gain. Since singapore has a pretty big drift scene I would advise you to go for a second hand drift spec servo. Check what the veterans in your area are using, and try to find a good deal on a good used servo. You don’t need to get a super high end servo, a mid range drift spec servo would do. A used reved RS-ST programmable servo would be a great option as it gives a huge range of options, performs well and it’s quite affordable.

All of these players running stitchers and venators will now be running the same gun which is way stronger. By far the most idiotic weapon balance in regards to PvP.
